Sian Bliss is a London-based artist known for creating vibrant and immersive public artworks that invite communities to engage with the subconscious, dreams, and imagination.
My practice is rooted in exploring the shared experiences of people and place, uncovering the deeper connections between individuals and their environment. Each project I undertake is a collaborative journey, where I work closely with the community to bring new perspectives and collective visions to life.
Working across a variety of mediums, from large-scale digital installations to durational, hand- painted murals, my process is deeply collaborative. I believe that the most meaningful public art is created with a sensitivity to the community that will live with it. My goal is to ensure that my work reflects the spirit, history, and diversity of the places it inhabits, offering an open-hearted and trust-driven dialogue between the artwork and its audience.
I aim to create spaces that spark the imagination, encourage reflection, and inspire a sense of connection. Whether through intricate patterns, vibrant colours, or thought-provoking designs, my work transforms public spaces into immersive experiences where creativity and community intertwine. For me, art is a vehicle for shared understanding—a way to bring people together through a celebration of the subconscious, the collective dream, and the human experience.
